Every WWE title belt explained: a complete championship guide
From the WWWF title through the modern undisputed championship — every major WWE, WWF and ECW title, what each one is, and which replicas exist.
Every WWE title, from the WWWF to today
Wrestling has produced more championships than any other form of entertainment, and the lineages tangle. This is the plain version: what each major title is, roughly when it mattered, and what a collector can realistically own a replica of.
The world championships
The WWWF title is the oldest lineage in the company and the ancestor of everything that followed. It became the WWF world title, then the WWE championship, and today runs alongside the WWE world heavyweight championship. The undisputed era merged the lineages — which is why undisputed champion and undisputed title still turn up constantly in searches. All of these sit in the replica title belts range.
The Intercontinental and Universal titles
The Intercontinental title — the WWE IC title — is the collector’s belt, with more distinct designs than almost any other championship. The WWE Universal title is the modern counterpart on the other brand, cleaner and heavier on plating. There is a full Intercontinental guide if that is the one you are after.
United States, NXT and tag team titles
The US title — the WWE United States title — is the most recognisable secondary championship and a common second belt. NXT belts, including the WWE NXT title, run cleaner and more modern. The world tag team championship and the older WWF tag team titles are collected as matched pairs. See the NXT title belts range, or the guide to all three.
The specialist titles
Several championships have a following out of proportion to how long they existed. The hardcore title — the WWF hardcore belt — is the clearest example, defended under rules that made it a fan favourite. The cruiserweight title and the European title both have devoted collector bases, and the ECW world title and ECW heavyweight title carry the whole weight of that promotion’s history.
Titles beyond WWE
Two outside lineages come up constantly. The NWA world heavyweight championship is the oldest continuously defended world title in wrestling, and the IWGP world championship is its Japanese equivalent in prestige. Both are collected seriously, and both look nothing like a WWE plate hanging beside them.
Which should you collect?
Pick the lineage you actually care about rather than the one with the most designs. A collection built around one title tells a story; a collection of whatever was on offer does not. Whichever way you go, the four build checks decide whether a specific replica is worth owning, and the cost breakdown explains the price.
Can you order a title that is not listed?
Yes. Everything here is made to order rather than pulled from a fixed shelf, so a design you cannot see on the site is usually still possible. Ask, and we will tell you plainly whether it can be produced to the same standard as the rest of the range.
