NXT, United States and Tag Team title belts explained
The championships beyond the world title — what each design is, who they suit, and what to look for in a replica.
Beyond the world title
Most collections start with a world championship replica and then widen. These three — NXT, the United States title and the tag team championships — are where they usually widen to, and each has a genuinely different character.
NXT title belts
NXT designs are cleaner and more modern than the main-roster plates, with more negative space and less scrollwork. That makes them the pragmatic choice for a room you cannot light perfectly: flat plating reads well under ordinary lighting where an ornate plate needs a raking spot. The United States championship
The US title is one of the most recognisable non-world championships, and its stars-and-stripes plate work is distinctive enough to anchor a display on its own. It is also a common second belt, because it looks nothing like a world title hanging next to it.
Tag team championships
Tag titles are sold and displayed as a matched pair, which changes the display maths entirely — budget double the wall space and plan the mounting before ordering. Displayed together they have more presence than a single world belt.
What to check on any of them

Which of the three suits a first belt?
The United States title, for most people. It is instantly recognisable, it looks nothing like a world championship, and it works as a standalone display in a way a single tag title never can. NXT suits a modern room or a difficult lighting situation. Tag titles are a second or third purchase almost without exception, because the pair needs planning.
Do tag team belts have to be bought as a pair?
They are designed as one, and a single tag belt on a wall reads as incomplete to anyone who knows what it is. If budget means buying one now and one later, check the design is still in the range before you commit — matching a discontinued partner belt afterwards is difficult and occasionally impossible.
What about side plates?
Several of these designs take interchangeable side plates, which is the cheapest way to change a display without buying another belt. Check the mounting spacing on your strap first — plate sets are not universal across generations. The side plate sets list which straps each fits.
Display advice for these three
NXT and US titles hang like any full-size belt: flat, eye level, lit from above at an angle. Tag titles want to be mounted at the same height with even spacing between them, and they need roughly double the wall width you would allow for a single belt. Measure before ordering rather than after.
